2026/2/26

New Features:

  • Miracast with Touchback Support: Added support for native Miracast wireless projection, including the touchback feature for remote control from the display.
  • NovoHub Integration: Fully integrated support for the NovoHub software ecosystem.
  • Crestron XiO Connected: Added support for Crestron control systems to enable seamless classroom and corporate AV integration.

Enhancements & Changes:

  • Power Key Logic Optimization: Discontinued the Google Assistant trigger via a long-press of the Power key; the long-press action will now strictly display the Power Off / Restart menu.
  • NovoDS Language Expansion: Introduced Slovakian language support within the NovoDS digital signage interface.

Fixed Bugs:

  • SPDIF Noise Suppression: Fixed an audio routing bug where noise or static occurred through the SPDIF output when the “Sound Out” setting was configured to “Speaker.”
  • ARC Audio Recovery: Resolved an issue where no audio was output when the “Sound Out Channel” was set to ARC (Audio Return Channel).
  • NovoDS YouTube Playback: Resolved a playback failure issue with YouTube video streams within NovoDS.
  • Screen Lock Responsiveness: Fixed a UI freeze bug where the system became unresponsive after enabling the “Swipe” lock option in Screen Lock settings.
  • Network Status Display: Fixed an intermittent display bug on the BK3 where the IP address failed to show on the Home Screen UI after switching the Ethernet cable or waking the device from sleep mode.
  • Ethernet Detection Failure: Resolved a cold-boot issue on the BK3 where the system failed to detect or initialize the wired network connection if the Ethernet cable was plugged in prior to powering on the device.
  • Whiteboard Sticky Notes Cleanup: Fixed a data persistence bug in the Whiteboard application where existing Sticky Notes were not cleared upon initiating a “New Session.”

    • When the software edition is US, Touchback is enabled by default after connection.
    • When the software edition is non-US, Touchback is disabled by default after connection.
    • Add Enable/Disable Touchback function to the Floating Window Toolbar.
    • Remove status indicator light.

    • Fix USB 2.0 and Type-C not recognized after power on.
    • Fix Whiteboard Google Drive upload not responding.

    Fixed Bugs:

    • Fixed an issue where an empty value for SW_EDITION caused upgrade problems.
    • Fixed an issue where the toolbar was not displayed during horizontal projection from an iPad Pro.
    • Fixed a synchronization issue when a Client is connected and projecting: switching between fullscreen/non-fullscreen on the RVA side caused the Floating Screen status to desynchronize with the Client display.
    • Fixed an issue where the Panel randomly displayed red, blue, or green screens.

    • Fixed an abnormal User List display after connecting via the iOS NovoConnect APP.
    • Fixed an issue where the IP address was not displayed on the Nearby Device page when using Hotspot connection with DSA.
    • Fixed an issue where clicking the bottom-left icon on the NT Settings page displayed an incorrect URL for TH3.
    • Fixed an issue where NT Minutes video recordings did not reach 1080p resolution.
    • Fixed an issue where the floating window’s bottom toolbar did not automatically close after 10 seconds following a Client projection.
